Specification sales team tenure is on average approximately 10 years due the incredible product offering, customers service focus and impressive leadership from passionate directors and senior management. Very attractive remuneration is on offer including a strong base, car allowance and above market average commission/incentives. The Opportunity Working with an established but small VIC team, with succession plans in mind, you will manage a targeted list of existing Interior Design and Architectural contacts with the view to further develop commercial relationships and project specifications largely for the hospitality, health and education project market.
Manage leads and enquiries, secure presentations with designers and respond to sample requests and quotes. Be proactive in exploring market opportunities through developing new relationships within existing clients and new prospects in the design sector.
This position is unique in that the breadth of solutions you can offer to each project will create remarkable relationships and is certainly not a pure product sales position. Historically, the top tier architecture design firms will rely on you to bring solutions to them for a variety of projects.
Passionate about design and the A&D community. Engaging with a genuine interest in building long term relationships. Proven and current experience in proactively calling on and meeting with interior designers and architects. Project focused with the ability to explore multiple opportunities within a design firm. A strong communicator and a confident presenter. Team oriented, customer focused and determined to be successful.
