ATEA executive support officer

The role of executive support officer will provide both management and support services to the Australian Teacher Education Association. This role can be completed from any location in Australia.  Your main roles within the organisation will include:

  • membership and database management
  • governance and committee support including legislative compliance
  • member and stakeholder liaison
  • financial administration
  • member services/benefits
  • marketing and communication

Essential requirements

  • Association management experience
  • Volunteer professional association legislative compliance requirements, including basic fiduciary and legislative frameworks relevant to the operation of incorporated societies
  • Proficient computer and communication skills

Highly desirable requirements

  • Qualifications in a relevant field, e.g. business management/marketing
  • Understanding of volunteer professional associations

  • Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of an organisation
  • Proven ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Strong attention to detail
