Queensland Alliance for Mental Health (QAMH) is the peak body for the community mental health sector. We provide research, program development, training and information support to service providers and advocate for best practice programs and funding for the mental health sector.

About the role
Reporting to the CEO this key role has responsibility for delivering on the strategic direction for QAMH through the development of partnerships, stakeholder relationship management and member engagement. This role is primarily responsible to provide project management and oversight ensuring delivery of agree outcomes to specific projects. You will possess knowledge of the mental health environment including relevant public policies, reforms and initiatives.
This role will be based at the QAMH office with the CEO and travel both state/nationally will be required as agreed with the CEO.
About the candidate
A sound knowledge of contemporary mental health issues, particularly in relation to community mental health programs and relevant legislation
Good organisational skills and capacity to manage project-based teams
Leadership, management and business development skills
Project/Program management experience, including performance and financial management
Experience in developing effective partnerships at senior levels of organisations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Relevant tertiary qualification and or relevant experience in the community mental health sector.
Salary to be negotiated based on experience
