Due to our continued focus on improvement and innovation, we are currently seeing expressions of interest for a Digital Engineering Lead to join our team based in Auburn. This is an exciting opportunity designed to push innovation in the BIM space and use BIM to transform how we deliver projects on a day to day basis.
Whilst it will be your opportunity to develop and shape this role, some of the key considerations will be:
Responsibility for BIM standards and development, implementation, and management across multiple projects
Provision of support to project teams in BIM project setup
Development and effectively management of change management processes
Lead, coach and mentor others in the project team to facilitate a culture that fosters innovation
Managing technical aspects of Design Engineering production for projects
Provide technical advice to team members to support effective project delivery
Manage all Digital Engineering deliverables and BIM modelling to ensure they are compliant with relevant regulations and standards and meet all client requirements
Champion the use of Digital Engineering while balancing its application to ensure meaningful project and client benefits are achieved
Act as primary Digital Engineering contact with clients and other consultants involved in project and establish broad project systems and processes in collaboration with them.
To be prepared for this role you will:
Have substantial relevant experience in design, drafting or engineering
Thrive in a technical environment, and able to solve problems
Have an in-depth working knowledge of current BIM practices & ability to assist project teams in BIM project setup
Display capability in 2 or 3 BIM modelling related software packages
Have a proven ability to motivate teams, make informed decisions and possess strong personal skill
Be able to form strong relationships of trust with staff and clients
Have previous experience working within a complex infrastructure project
Possess well-developed skills to write technical documentation
Demonstrate a background in leading and developing teams
Be able to work alone or as part of a team.
