About the role
Lead, coach, and mentor a high performing team committed to achieving outcomes; overseeing the delivery of day to day finance, payroll, facilities, and procurement functions. Work collaboratively with MSQ leadership to ensure the business is positioned to achieve commercial outcomes and provide consultative advice and information to shape tactical and strategic direction for the organisation.
Collaborate with leaders, managers, and stakeholders to shape the org-wide financial operations, working to drive efficiencies and business outcomes
Lead exceptional client service both internally and externally ensuring best practice processes and outcomes
Provide consultative direction and advice as the principal expert for the organisation
Proactively and effectively monitor for financial risk and exposure, working with business leaders to implement controls and ensure ongoing fiscal viability
Drive continuous improvement through monitoring and reviewing systems, standards, and process; leading strategic and operational projects; and staying informed on industry trends and impacts.
We are looking for candidates who will bring;
Highly developed communication skills, able to engage with tact and influence across work disciplines to achieve outcomes
Proven experience in successfully leading high performing teams in an end to end financial management function
Experience in leading strategic, tactical, and operational levels of a finance team; including budget management, payroll, strategic forecasting, and management accounting.
A history of consistently meeting SLAs, supported by a vision for ongoing improvement with the ability to execute plans
(Desirable) A tertiary qualification in the field of accounting/business
(Desirable) Current open driver license & the ability visit sites across SEQ
