Accounts Receivable/Administration Officer

Asset Construction Hire is seeking a talented and ambitious Accounts Receivable/Administration Officer to join their finance team on a permanent basis. 

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your role is primarily to fulfil the Accounts Receivable functions for two of our companies and will include but not be limited to the following duties:

  • Allocation of payments
  • Reconciliations 
  • Credit application processing
  • Daily collection calls 
  • Overseeing invoicing 
  • Production of credit notes
  • Sending out on-hire reports
  • End of month processing of invoices and balancing of systems
  • Attending to emails
  • Answering phones when required
  • Assist with invoice queries and the correction of errors
  • Assist with the processing of Accounts Payable invoices
  • Back up Payroll function
  • Manage vehicle registrations
  • Manage staff training register
  • Assist the Finance Manager when required

The successful applicant will also have the following attributes and skills:

  • Previous experience in an end-to-end Accounts Receivable Officer position
  • Demonstrated ability to confidently work autonomously as well as in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure with competing requirements
  • Strong reconciliation, negotiation and debt collection skills
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • A can do attitude where you enjoy problem solving and assisting others
  • Strong computer skills using the following computer programs an advantage:  
    • Microsoft Office Suite 
    • MYOB 
    • HirePOS
    • Linksoft
