CouncilBIZ is a local government subsidiary, established in 2008 to facilitate the efficient provisions of administration, information technology and financial services to the nine Regional Councils providing support to over 2000 end users in 75 locations across remote areas of the Northern Territory.
Purpose of Role
The primary purpose of this role is to provide financial and administrative services to support both CouncilBIZ and its Members in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate processing of all transactions.
The processing team consists of a Principal Financial Consultant, an Accountant and 5 Finance Officers. Each Finance Officer is assigned a range of primary tasks, with the ability to cover for others.
This role is primarily focused on Finance, Payroll and Administration with a strong backup role for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and other financial and administrative activities.
