Payroll Officer & Business Analysis

The Eskleigh Foundation, one of Tasmanias leading providers of residential and in-home disability support, is seeking an experienced Payroll officer who has managed 200+ staff processing for its Perth Head Office.

You will support the growth of the business through your ability to accurately perform the payroll function while supporting the business with new technology and building business intelligence data.  

Previous experience with the implementation of new software and/or business intelligence software and process will be highly regarded.  This key role supports the Admin hub in migrating to and adopting new systems, in line with Eskleighs growth and strategic plan.

The role:

  • The role is a 60% payroll 40% business intelligence split;
  • Manage end to end payroll for 200+ staff on a fortnightly basis;
  • Provide advice and support to staff around payroll queries and issues;
  • Support the Finance team to develop business intelligence specifically in reviewing data, trends, forecasting and budgeting;
  • Support the Finance team processing the key drivers of revenue;
  • Assist with the implementation of new systems;
  • Participate in the maintenance of databases and IT systems;
  • Involvement in other continuous improvement & ad hoc admin projects that are common in a growing and developing organisation like Eskleigh;
  • Previous experience with the implementation of new software and/or business intelligence; software and process will be highly regarded and;
  • Previous experience in the NDIS environment will be highly regarded.

  The person:

  • Experience with Xero and other payroll systems;
  • Experience with complex paygrades, rates and shift worker payments;
  • Proficient in Excel and with other business analysis tools;
  • Experience with a variety of Business Intelligence Software;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks at one time to meet deadlines;
  • High level customer skills, managing internal and external communications;
  • The capacity to work independently within the larger admin team;
  • The desire and capability to occupy and develop a key role and function; and
  • An excitement for this role from reading this advertisement!
