Assistant Bookkeeper/ Payroll Officer

OntheNet is a leading Internet Service Provider, providing over 20 years of service on the Gold Coast. We specialise in network-based IT solutions for business, and offer internet, data centre, hosting and managed IT services across Australia. 

This is a full time permanent position designed to provide substantial support and assistance to the Finance and Administration Manager.  

Note:  Candidates looking for 80% permanent part time work may be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bank reconciliations within a high transaction and multi account environment
  • Purchasing
  • Accounts payable
  • Cash flow forecasting
  • Payroll, inc Superannuation reconciliation
  • Payroll Tax
  • Assisting with Human Resource matters
  • FBT reporting
  • General Admin duties

Required Experience

  • At least five years experience within a similar role, demonstrating a strong understanding and practical knowledge of double entry accounting principles, payroll and admin practices
  • Proficient in the use of MYOB and Excel
