This full-time role requires a dynamic multifunctional individual who is confident and capable of both drawing on prior skill and knowledge and being open to learning new ways of executing tasks including embracing technology to improve workflow.
Our clients are one of our most important assets. As a member of our team you will have direct contact with our clients on a daily basis, assisting them cheerfully with all manner of enquiries. You will be responsible for a variety of office administration functions and for supporting our lawyers working in commercial, litigious, estate planning, probate matters and family law assisting to provide excellent service to our clients.
Your outstanding organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail will be put to good use prioritising tasks including:
Diary and appointment management
Client payments, client credit control and debt collection
Safe Custody and Wills Database management
Opening and closing files
Audio transcribing, word processing, document creation and management
Manual and electronic file maintenance
Our team has a strong mentality of pitching in, rolling up our sleeves and helping out, executing all tasks with an exceptionally high level of accuracy.
A good sense of humour is a must, as is the ability to be a natural team player.
A high level of savvy in the full Microsoft Office suite and an outstanding ability to learn and understand new software programs.
Highly developed organisation skills to identify priorities and manage workflow.
Demonstrated client service focus, a professional attitude and exceptional telephone manner.
A fast and accurate typing speed with audio transcription experience.
A current or the ability to obtain a clear police clearance.
Experience as a legal secretary, administration assistant or in another position within the legal industry would be highly advantageous in demonstrating your ability to fulfill the requirements for this position.
