Nowa Energia Australia Pty Ltd operates in the renewable energy sector in South Australia as well as interstate. It's a subsidiary of a successful international corporation called Nowa Energia SA (www.nowaenergiasa.pl) that develops, installs and operates large scale wind and photovoltaics farms.
About the Role
This role is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the development of large scale wind and solar farm projects from the initial stage to the construction stage, and support project coordination processes between the mother company in Poland and the Australian subsidiary Company in Adelaide.
Coordinating all administrative procedures for all stages of the projects.
Providing Engineering support to the Business Development area, and engineering analysis of the logistics of connecting projects to the power grid.
Providing guidance and advice to the Director regarding the development of wind farm and PV projects.
Finding locations and assessing them in terms of wind or PV farm construction possibilities.
Preparing the project cost reports and schedules of timing for all projects being submitted for investment approval.
Preparing and signing the necessary contracts throughout the development of the projects.
Participating in high-level international project committees and meetings and reporting on the progress of the projects.
Preparing documents to submit to the local, state and federal authorities, overseeing the administrative procedures of these applications, and assessing the decisions or permits.
Coordinating the work of external contractors.
Checking documents such as preliminary construction technical drawings and plans.
Participating in negotiations regarding prepared projects and support in obtaining external financing.
Skills and Experience
Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, and in Management and Economics.
At least 10 years experience developing large scale commercial renewable energy projects including a proven track record (minimum requirement: evidence of securing a valid development approval for a 100MW or larger wind farm or PV farm).
Bilingual - English and Polish.
Solid understanding of Project Coordinating.
An ability to mentor site engineers and to solve both personal and project issues.
Valid Driver's License.
Ability to travel interstate and to Poland.
