Finance and Administration Manager

Brisbane West location, Mid-size building and manufacturing business, Key leadership position.A person with these skills plays a crucial role in a business such as this.  In addition to the obvious key accounting responsibilities, you will play a part in safety, administration, people and culture, and generally driving a profitable business.  Fundamentally, you play the part of back office operations manager whilst the business owners are in the field meeting clients, driving projects and ensuring quality standards are being met in every site. 

The key duties and responsibilities of this position are split between three broad categories of accounting, administration and human resources; 

  • Management of outstanding creditors, debtors and cashflow management
  • Monthly and annual financial reporting
  • Monthly reconciliations, P&L, balance sheet management
  • Payment and management of BAS and ATO
  • Contract administration
  • Tender preparation and submission
  • Ensure workplace and sites comply with current WH&S regulations
  • Manage Workcover compliance
  • Payroll management and processing
