Sales Representative QLD - Business Development Manager
SolarArk Australia Pty Ltd (SolarArk) is a National Solar Products Manufacturer, with an established national reseller network. SolarArk has been operating for over 10 years and have an exciting opportunity to join the ever-expanding company.
SolarArk is a well-known, established and growing organisation that manufacturers the most efficient Evacuated Tube Solar Hot Water and Solar Roof Ventilation products on the market. Our systems are designed for use across diverse residential and commercial properties. We specialise in designing, engineering, manufacturing, and commissioning solar hot water and ventilation systems and we pride ourselves on our customer service. We make our customers feel valued and appreciated by engaging in customer oriented solar hot water system and roof ventilation sales, design, installation, and service.
SolarArk are undergoing an exciting period of growth and now have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced sales/business development professional to develop the customer relationship opportunities in the QLD market. Reporting to the Directors this role will be part of our ever-growing team.
What you will be doing
You will have day to day responsibility for the business development/customer relationships in the QLD Market however, this may extend to other markets as the business continues to grow. Whilst the QLD market has an established customer base there are always new business opportunities to initiate and develop. Other responsibilities will include:
Implementing short and long term business plans for resellers and new customers using relevant sales data and analytics where appropriate
Developing solutions and promoting our solar products to new and existing clients.
Working closely with the SolarArk Team & distribution partners to ensure all customer expectations are met and exceeded
Taking ownership for your market and driving forward all the opportunities that it presents
What we are looking for
Ideally, the successful candidate will have relevant Sales/Business Development experiences (either in a similar or comparative/transferable industry) with key performance indicators, while managing the established reseller network relationships and establishing long term partnerships.
Whilst relevant Tertiary qualifications are desirable, we are really looking for an individual who possesses Business Development/Account Management experience across a broad portfolio combined with a passion for our products/services.
High level problem solving, decision making and organisation skills
Collaborative, team player with sound communication skills (verbal, interpersonal, written)
High level of agility and the ability to work autonomously
Ability to develop and execute business proposals
Positive, energetic and influencing style to support the growth of our business
Strong commercial acumen including forecasting, budgeting and reporting
