We are currently seeking a Civil / Senior Drafter who will be responsible for undertaking drafting work in our Technical Services Team. The ideal person will contribute to the development and production of 2D project CAD deliverables on major transport projects as well as supporting civil infrastructure projects in our friendly Newcastle office.
You will be offered the opportunity to continue your career off the back of our successful track record winning major transport infrastructure projects and gain highly valued multifaceted professional civil drafting experience. As a minimum you will have experience in a wide range of projects which include road, drainage, earthworks, rail and associated civil infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience working on major transport (road & rail) or other infrastructure projects in a similar role
- Diploma, Advanced Diploma or equivalent professional tertiary Civil Drafting qualification
- Experience in the production of CAD documentation to Transport Authority Standards (e.g. RMS) from concept stage
- AutoCAD software skills as a minimum
- Use of or knowledge of other software packages such as Civil3D, 12D and Revit would also be beneficial
- Ability to work well within a team and a positive attitude to your work
- Strive to deliver projects on time and to budget
- Communicate effectively with Project Managers and engineers
- Drive and influence drawing best practice
