Camray Air Pty Ltd has been providing air conditioning to homes and businesses in the greater Wollongong region since its establishment in 1996. With many years of experience and industry knowledge, we provide expert advice on the best system for our clients needs.

Our diverse client base ranges from residential premises with split or ducted systems, to office blocks, restaurants and sites such as schools, hospitals and multi-storey buildings, as well as new housing developers and builders.

 

 

About the role

Our expanding company is looking to hire an Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be in charge of providing leadership to our organisations team and will be involved in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures. You will also be assisting our Human Resources team with recruiting, when necessary, and help promote a company culture that encourages morale and performance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Staff KPI's and Reporting.
  • Prepare and Manage Domestic Quotations.
  • Provide inspired leadership for the organization.
  • Make important policy, planning, and strategy decisions.
  • Develop, implement and review operational policies and procedures.
  • Assist HR with recruiting when necessary.
  • Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
  • Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.
  • Work with senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Work with the board of directors to determine values and mission, and plan for short and long-term goals.
  • Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.
  • Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations.
  • Support worker communication with the management team.

  • Management and team leader experience in a trades based environment.
  • Experience in scheduling and co-ordinating staff.
  • Experience dealing directly with customers.
