Permanent Full Time Position, Flexibility to work both installation & maintenance.
We are seeking a positive qualified Fire Alarm Technician/Installer experienced both maintenance and installation. This includes fault-finding, repair, programming and testing to join the team.
Key Requirements & Job Description:
Installation and maintenance of Fire Detection, Alarm and Warning Systems
Fire Detection Fault Finding (Service Calls) with ability to fault find
Installation of Fire Detection Systems, EWIS & Occupant Warning Systems
Programming familiar with AMPAC, TYCO, Simplex, Notifier systems would be an advantage.
Annual Testing and Maintenance of our Accredited sites (over 300).
Previous experience in running commercial jobs in construction.
Excellent workmanship and attention to detail to meet the standards of our clients, company and industry.
Wet Fire knowledge such as hydrants, sprinkler, pump set, etc. is an advantage.
Knowledge in Fire Detection Rectifications Special Hazard Systems e.g. Gas Suppression Systems, VESDA, etc. and experience in security systems would be a plus.
Excellent customer communication skills.
Be able to work as part of a team or independently.
Be productive to complete tasks within set time.
Possess a positive attitude even under pressure.
Construction Induction Card (white card)
Manual/Auto Drivers License
Ability to read as constructed drawings and plans
The successful candidate will be required to have a sound working knowledge of relevant Australian Standards AS1851, AS1670 and AS2419 as well as DFES Requirements preferably holding an open cabling license and all other relevant cards and tickets to perform required works (e.g. EWP); Extinguishing Agent Handling License is an advantage.
