Senior Client Relationship Manager (Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane!)
Summary of Responsibilities:
Working with the Head of Corporate Distribution and the broader Distribution Team, this role is responsible for the strategic account management and the achievement of profitable growth targets (Sales and Retention) within their allocated panel of Corporate channel partners.
Working in collaboration with the Client Relationship Managers (CRMs) and the Head of Corporate Distribution, you will be responsible for achieving your sales and retention target.
To develop and execute account plans that deliver to client needs, drive revenue and earnings growth.
Ensure a continuous program of engagement with key partners to sustain a strong CVP.
Facilitate and drive executive sponsor engagement with key partners.
Manage and influence internal stakeholders (including underwriting, administration, claims, product and pricing) to deliver client deliverables and outcomes.
Ensure MetLife is the most visible and active distribution team in the market.
Identify and influence growth opportunities through new distribution partnerships.
Ensure compliance with reporting and salesforce maintenance on new opportunities, sales, re-rates and renewals.
Champion the Corporate segment and work closely with other business departments to encourage client centricity and the continuous improvement of the customer experience.
Achieve new business and retention targets as set by Business Heads each year.
Develop annual client partnership plan for key partners to optimise sales, retention and client satisfaction.
Ensure the Goals and Measures are met for each account plan each year.
Own the client partnership governance framework and ensure executive sponsorship and engagement is in place for key partners.
Leverage global strength through proactive engagement with MetLife Global Employee Benefits network and MAXIS.
Drive and own strategies developed with the Business Heads and other CRMs, ensuring all key internal parties are involved to guarantee maximum success going forward.
Escalate issues to the Business Heads and follow through as required.
Lead and support the CRMs and broader Distribution team.
Proactive development and maintenance of relationships.
Effectively reaches the decision makers.
Questions and listens effectively to better understand the client.
Creates open and trusting relationships, while making a personal impact in the market.

Qualifications & Experience required:
Previous experience gained in financial services or group insurance environment desirable.
Knowledge in intermediated B2B sales, preferably in group insurance
Market and technical product knowledge
Working in a client facing role
RG 146 preferred
