Learning and WHSE Coordinator - 6 Month Contract - Immediate Start

As a key support role you will be responsible for providing high quality proactive and efficient administration support to the HR team with a focus on learning and safety. You will be an integral member of the team setting up, promoting and growing our brand new learning academy and ensuring its success through forward planning and effective delivery of events and programs. 

Snapshot of the role

Training Coordination

  • Coordinate learning events and programs including scheduling, resource allocation, setting up training rooms, catering, restocking of consumables etc
  • Provide high level administration including preparing correspondence, data entry and the management of learning records within our Learning Management System
  • Manage the Quickstep Learning Academy event schedule and calendar to ensure we meet current and future learning needs of the business

WHSE Support

  • Supporting the WHS Business Partner by recording/updating appropriate registers (incident/hazard/risk) and preparing graphs and disseminating information
  • Manage workers compensation claims through our risk manager and insurer

Project Support

  • Support the HR Business Partner with the implementation of our new HRIS system. This may include preparing data and undertaking system administration activities.

What we are looking for:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Human Resources or a related discipline or previous experience In a coordination role
  • Microsoft suite (excel, word, powerpoint) outlook
  • Previous experience undertaking data analysis and working with mass data
  • Prior experience with Cornerstone or a similar HRIS system desirable
  • Knowledge of AQF Framework, VET Sector and Safety desirable
