The Team
The Broome Regional Office is responsible for the coordination of Catholic Education Office services in the Broome diocese and school along with community liaison. The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in the smooth running of the Catholic Education Broome Regional Office.


The Role

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Manage main reception including receive all calls, distribute general incoming emails and provision of amenities for visitors, staff and visiting consultants
  • Provide administrative support to the Regional Officer and relevant CEO personnel.
  • Assist with financial management
  • Organise travel arrangements for the Regional Officer and relevant CEO personnel.

Your Background

  • Well-developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills including a professional, courteous and helpful telephone manner
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with, standard office procedures (including reception, minute taking, travel booking and meeting preparation) and office equipment.
  • Proficient computer skills particular with Microsoft Office Work, Excel and Outlook
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative, set priorities and follow instructions with a focus on results and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a co-operative, positive member of the team.
