Our vision is to build a global support network able to get help by a person's side anywhere in the world, within 20 minutes. Sonder is a world-first personal safety and wellbeing company founded and staffed by former military, diplomatic and emergency services personnel. We exist to make personal safety and support accessible to everyone; rewiring the traditional concept of local community support to be fit for an increasingly globalised, dispersed and transient world.
Reporting into the Customer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for communicating with our members and providing support and welfare checks during critical times. You will work closely with Sonders Critical Incident Response team to support their efforts in managing member well-being and support.
In this role, you will be responsible for communication with members who have been identified as needing additional support through arranged phone call check-ins and email correspondence. You will be expected to behave in accordance with Sonders values, including empathy and respect in all member communication.
To be successful in this role, you should have;
Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
Fluent communication in 2 or more languages - ideally Mandarin
Experience with Genesys, or similar phone systems
An empathetic nature with a customer-centric focus on service

The role is available as a casual position, with the ideal candidate having availability to work afternoons, evenings, and some weekends as required.
Due to the nature of our industry, all Sonder employees are required to complete a National Police Check and WWCC with further screening required for some roles
