About the role
  
Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, this is quite simply a business partnering role responsible for end to end recruitment, stakeholder engagement, and candidate management. Partnering with HRBP’s with the support of TA Administrators, you will be the go-to person for everything and anything talent acquisition. Manage the recruitment of a diverse range of roles across the central professional portfolio such as; corporate services, student services, properties & facilities, legal and our Centre for Aboriginal Studies.

Here's some of the things you’ll do;

  • Conduct job briefs with hiring managers
  • Develop appropriate sourcing strategies to identify the best talent in the market
  • Keep on top of workforce planning and talent pool initiatives to forecast future workload
  • Provide a positive candidate experience through extensive screening and assessment contact and regular contact until their first day on the job
  • Database management to track results and ensure accurate reporting
  • Talent pool strong candidates including silver medalists
  • Ensure all recruitment practices are in line with diversity and inclusion strategies and any other policies and initiatives
  • Engage and manage agencies when required
  • Keep up to date with the latest best practice talent acquisition tools and technology

We are looking for someone with…

  • Recent and relevant experience in end to end recruitment
  • Knowledge and understanding of current industry trends and best practice tools and technology
  • Ability to manage candidates ensuring a positive candidate experience whilst promoting the organisations employee value proposition including diversity and inclusion policies
  • Experience maintaining applicant tracking systems with candidate details, talent pooling, pipelining and using the system for regular communications and updates to candidates
  • A strong track record of cultivating high quality candidates via modern and traditional channels
  • Ability to work autonomously but collaboratively with peers and internal stakeholders to provide a timely service
  • Experience managing senior stakeholders and the ability to influence at all levels
  • Exposure to the Higher Education sector or a broad skillset across corporate service recruitment will be viewed favourably
  • Agency management and engagement
