Customer Service Co-ordinator

We are a family owned local business servicing the Sunshine Coast for over 30 years. We are looking for a qualified Customer Services Co-ordinator with Technical knowledge in the field of TV antenna and AV Services to job share 3-4 days per week with the possibility of moving into full time in the future.

The successful applicant would need the following skills and personal attributes:

  • Technical knowledge and experience in electronics, specifically TV antenna, Satellite, CCTV, Data and Wifi. With a knowledge of Audio Visual either as a tradesperson or hobbyist
  • Willing to learn new skills and new technology
  • Patience and a willingness to be understanding and helpful with customers
  • Friendly and polite phone manner
  • Good sales skills or willingness to learn
  • Basic computer skills with the able to type accurately on a keyboard. Basic skills would include the ability to competently use email programs, word processing, excel spreadsheets and cloud based job control software.
  • Local knowledge of  suburbs for efficient scheduling is an advantage
  • Good command of the English language and can create clear and concise estimate and scope of works documents as well as quality checking others documentation.
  • Good spelling skills are a real advantage
  • A person who can follow a strict non-smoking office policy in consideration of existing team members
  • A person who is punctual and willing to complete important tasks rather than leave by the clock
  • Someone who is flexible with increasing from 3 days to 4 days a week with the option of going full time in the future and looking for long term, ongoing employment. 

What the job entails.

  • Answering the phone and taking customer enquiries.
  • Handling incoming and outgoing email enquiries and communications.
  • Schedule jobs and data enter details into a cloud based CRM and booking system.
  • Assist Techician's and customers with Technical support.
  • Reschedule jobs as needed.
  • Over the phone diagnosis and estimated pricing.
  • Quality control, type and send estimates to clients.
  • Customer invoicing.
  • Front counter sales and advice on aerials for home and caravans
  • Front counter sales and advice on satellite for home and caravans
  • General office cleaning duties. ie, emptying bins, etc.
  • Keep front counter and showroom area clean and tidy
