Accounts Assistant

A fantastic opportunity exists for an Accounts Assistant to join a supportive team where you can continue to learn and grow.

Our offices are located within walking distance from St Leonards train station.

Duties and responsibilities of the job include:

  • Assisting the accounts department with all aspects of accounting
  • Prepare documents for tax lodges/BAS
  • Prepare financial and other reports for the Financial Controller
  • Chasing outstanding debtors
  • Uploading and storing information into the company systems
  • Data entry & management of emails
  • Process weekly labour timesheets
  • Credit card management and reconciliations
  • Adhoc administration duties as required

Skills and experience required:

  • Demonstrated high level of organisational and time management skills
  • Previous administration/accounts highly desired
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Strong skills in Microsoft office & OneDrive
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Sound knowledge of MYOB desired or willingness learn
  • Able to work independently and within a team environment

Being a team player with excellent communication and a strong attention to detail will ensure your success in this role. Experience in the Construction Industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
