As part of their growth strategy they are looking for an experience Business Development Manager within their technology division to build on their current success within this sector.

You will be responsible for developing potential new business opportunities, developing profound industry knowledge and promote the company's capabilities to both existing and new clients. This role has a heavy emphasis on business development - working closely with internal and external stakeholders, assessing project requirements and ensuring the provision of effective customer service and project lifecycle support.
To be successful you will have;
A proven and quantifiable history of success in developing new business within the construction sector.
A strong network of industry contracts within construction throughout the ACT and beyond.
High levels of written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise and negotiate at a senior level.
A solid understanding of market led construction projects.
The ability to think “outside the square” to provide and tailor bespoke Audio Visual project solutions to clients.
Strong engagement and people management skills.
Strong reporting capabilities.
Solid computer skills utilising the full Microsoft suite with experience in CRM and project management software.
Enjoy working as part of a close knit management team.
Experience in formulating and delivering tender and bid submissions to wide ranging clients across multi-disciplined construction projects.
You will have excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build, develop and maintain tangible business relationships. You will be energetic & enthusiastic, coupled with outstanding prospecting skills. Excellent opportunities exist within the company for career advancement and progression.
