The opportunity

Were on the lookout for Tow Truck Drivers to join our Sydney Maintenance team. Your varied day will see you responsible for:

  • Responding to unplanned incidents at designated locations with the aim of returning the road to normal operating conditions with the utmost urgency
  • Performing traffic control to standards

  • Assist in lane and barrier changing procedures and systems, which may include driving/operating the barrier transfer machine, including escorting and towing; removal of debris and obstructions on the roadway

  • Towing of disabled vehicles and plant from the carriageway to a safe position clearof traffic

About you

We are looking for individuals who have the capability to work under limited supervision and have experience in heavy vehicle towing.

Essential requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and follow instructions and work procedures

  • Good communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and co-operatively in a team environment

  • Demonstrated responsibility for personal safety and safety of others in the workplace

  • Possess a Multi Combination ( MC) driver's License

Salary and Benefits

WCS Pay Point 8 ($1313.34 per week), plus superannuation and leave loading.
