The purpose of this role is to establish and develop customer relationships while maintaining a high level of service and delivering the right value proposition to both current and prospective customers. There is an emphasis on effectively selling the company's products to achieve our sales and growth targets.
Duties and Responsibilities
Servicing our existing metro and some regional customers, while seeking new business.
Building and developing strong business relationships with new and existing channels.
Developing and assessing strategy to increase customer acquisition and retention.
Evaluating information related to sales, promotions, and competition.
Increasing sales and distribution of new and existing product portfolios.
The Successful Applicant will have a strong sales background in the Battery industry with a hunger to succeed. The ability to lead cross-functionally is vital.

Knowledge of the automotive, marine, or heavy industry sectors (preferred but not essential)
Do you have what it takes
previous sales experience, ideally within the automotive industry
Passionate about giving customers great service
Someone who leads by example with strong interpersonal skills, with previous people management experience
You have well developed communication skills and experienced in motivating the team
You are physically FIT and healthy as some heavy lifting is involved
Current open licence is essential
Forklift licence desirable
Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
As a Sales Representative, you will be part of our sales team and report directly to the National Manager.
