Lead Engineer - Electrical Instrumentation and Controls
Perth central location, Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team, Greenfield and brownfield projects.
About the Roles
Our client, a national Project Delivery and Engineering consultant, is seeking for experienced Lead Engineer for Electrical Instrumentation and Controls scopes of work. This role offers a competitive remuneration, and the chosen candidate will work on mining projects at a central location in Perth. The initial contract will be for 6 months, with a view that for the right professional this could become a longer-term opportunity.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Lead a multidisciplinary team consisting ofElectrical, Instrumentation and Controls professionals
Apply your strong technical skills to guide your team
Create project estimates, schedules and datasheets, and accelerate schedules when possible
Monitor the progress and deliver accurate and timely services that meet the client, project budget and time requirements
Establish and maintain good working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
Skills and Experience
Previous mining industry experience ideally working on iron ore and substations projects
Technical skills in HV and LV, instrumentation and controls engineering
Demonstrated leadership capability, with strong communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong ability and experience in meeting deadlines and schedules
Full work rights in Australia and a demonstrated understanding on Australian electrical standards.
