This is an exciting time to join NRW Civil & Mining. We are seeking a Hire Maintenance Coordinator to work predominately in our Belmont Head Office. There will be a requirement for some travel to remote sites when necessary.
To be considered for these positions you must possess the following as a minimum:
3 years’ experience in s similar role
Trade Qualified Mechanic (HD Mechanic preferred or exposure to heavy Earthmoving Equipment)
A background in heavy mechanical repair and servicing
Relevant experience working for a Civil contracting company
Sound communication skills
Experienced and high level of negotiation, client relationship building and contract management skills
Be able and willing to travel to remote sites when needed.
A strong commitment to safety in the workplace
Demonstrates flexibility and resilience in dealing with complex issues, and implements sound problem solving methodology
As a Hire Maintenance Coordinator you will be responsible for but not limited to:
Conduct or coordinate pre-hire inspections, ensuring equipment is compliant with NRW specifications and site requirements.
Review equipment inspections completed on site and advise of any issues that require action.
Advise owners of defects / issues with their equipment and coordinate relevant repairs.
Authorise transport of equipment to and from NRW projects.
Complete / review equipment inspections and ensure equipment is fit for purpose and compliant with current HSE policies.
Record and maintain accurate records in relevant databases for both NRW and client specific requirements.
Ensure costs are legitimate and are accurately costed to the correct department / project / cost code.
Interpret hire agreements/contracts to resolve disputes.
Receipt purchase orders as required.
Review and update equipment forms as required.
Negotiate with equipment owners for off hire back charge costs.
Manage monthly supplier minor repairs back charge
Perform any additional tasks as directed which are within your skill, qualification, and competence level
