History

Cornucopia is a leader in quality multi-channel fundraising services for charities across Australia and New Zealand.  With the demand for telefundraising services continuing to expand, we are seeking a dynamic, motivated person to join our team as a full-time Client Account Manager.

In this role you will be working with some of Australia's leading charities to support their donor acquisition, retention and development aims through the effective use of best-practice telefundraising services. 

This is a multi-disciplined position, providing an exciting opportunity to support, influence and deliver outstanding fundraising outcomes for our charity clients.  You will work closely with the Head of Operations to support existing client relationship management and help drive new business growth from within the charity sector in Australia.  You will be supported in developing and maintaining your own portfolio of charity clients, and be given the opportunity to broaden your knowledge and skills in fundraising.

Day-to-day will see you

  • Pro-actively identifying and responding to new business development opportunities;
  • Building and managing existing client relationships for further development;
  • Developing, tailoring and presenting program proposals;
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders to achieve program setup within agreed timeframes;
  • Working with the internal program management team to maximize program performance;
  • Reporting to the Head of Operations Development and clients on program performance and pro-actively managing any variances;
  • Responding to issues or complaints, and managing the end-to-end resolution in the most appropriate, effective and positive way;
  • Making a valuable and positive contribution to the team environment at Cornucopia and a commitment to making the world a better place.

Essential Requirements;

  • At least 2-3 years' experience in a role involving fundraising sales or account management
  • A demonstrated ability to work with performance metrics, meet deadlines and deliver results effectively and creatively;
  • The ability and enthusiasm for networking with highly developed relationship management skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation, proposal and pitch skills;
  • A demonstrated ability to organise and prioritize your own workload in a dynamic and fast-paced environment;
  • The ability to interact confidently and effectively with all levels of Cornucopia, and solve problems in a complex environment;
  • The ability and willingness to travel in Australia, if required.

Desirable:

  • Experience in working for or with charities/not-for-profits;
  • An understanding of charity fundraising and as part of this, regular giving;
  • Experience in direct marketing and/or face-to-face fundraising.
