Full Time Head Receptionist

Qualifications & experience

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Bring a positive, engaging and helpful attitude to the role.
  • Be able to multi-task, remain calm under pressure and be detailed orientated.
  • Solid reception experience in a high-volume environment.
  • Great rapport building with both colleagues and clients
  • Ability to work towards deadlines
  • Previous medical administration preferred but not required
  • Previous team leadership role experience but not required.
  • Drivers license class C (unrestricted)

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Managing multiple incoming telephone lines as well as serving clients.
  • Greeting clients and organizing waiting room workflow.
  • Booking appointments and day-to-day schedule management.
  • Product sales and client education.
  • Taking payments and balancing the till at the end of the day.
  • Ensuring front of house is always clean and presentable.
  • Liaison between clients and the clinical team.
  • Management of high volume email inbox


  • This role is supported by a Hospital Director, Nurse Manager and a great team of conscientious work colleagues.
  • Ongoing training is high on our priority list, with all staff from receptionist to senior vets supported and encouraged to continue improving their skills.
