To keep up with the demand and our expanding business we are looking for an Accounts Assistant.The successful candidate ideally will be the main Accounts Assistant processing all our finance activity at our Japanese branch.
As a Accounts Assistant, You Will Be:
Preparing, verifying and processing credit notes, bank deposits, payments and credit card summaries from suppliers, customers and employees;
Processing payments when required, coding to appropriate accounts in accounting software;
Reconciling bank accounts;
Preparing journals, financial statements and additional reports when required;
Providing administrative support and performing ad-hoc tasks to support the wider Finance team.
What You Will Need to Succeed:
A tertiary qualification in accounting or finance is required;
At least 2 years of accounting or finance experience;
Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and manage expectations;
An ability to work independently as well as part of a team;
A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn;
Previous experience and familiarity with SAP is looked upon favorably;
Ability to read Japanese is required due to the nature of the responsibilities.
