With a team of close to 30, it operates from 2 offices Woolloongabba and Capalaba.  We are key trusted advisors to our clients and an exciting opportunity exists for a motivated, people focussed and driven person to join our team at our Capalaba office.


The Position


You will provide a range of administration support services to the Practice Manager and Corporate team. The Corporate team's core responsibility is the day to day management of the Practice.

  • Full time (8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday)
  • Immediate start available
  • Salary commensurate with experience
  • Previous experience in an Accounting Practice is essential - 2+ years in a similar role
  • Experience in ASIC and Debtor Management is essential
  • Experience using MYOB AE or MYOB AO is preferred or other Accounting Practice specialist software.

Previous experience in an Accounting Practice is essential.  Applicants who do not possess this experience will not be considered for the role.


Key Accountabilities


1. ASIC Client Database Management using MYOB AE Corporate Compliance module including: 

  • Annual Company Statement preparation, client correspondence and lodgement,
  • ASIC forms preparation and lodgement - 205, 361, 362, 484, 492, RA71, RA72, 6010.
  • Share Buy-backs, Share Transfers, Share Allocations
  • ASIC Portal knowledge 
  • Understanding of corporate structures and terms such as Directors, Shares, Beneficiary Held.

2. Debtors Management

  • Run Debtor Reports in MYOB AE
  • Debtors correspondence to Clients - Aged Debtors - emails and phone calls
  • Liaise with Partners and  Team Mangers to understand Client's background and circumstances
  • Liaise under instruction with Debt Collection Agency
  • Management of Payment Arrangements in Payway
  • Work closely with General Manager for Debtor Management

3. Corporate Team Support - support to the Partners, General Manager, Practice Manager and Corporate services team. 

4. Project Work - adhoc basis

  • ASIC Experience essential
  • Debtor Management experience essential
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is critical
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Computer literate
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint and Word)
  • Experience with office equipment
  • A self-starter and highly motivated 
  • Great people skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Impeccable telephone manner
  • Client care
