Overview
Are you a savvy Analyst who is passionate about data, research and delivering an evidence-based approach to support decision-making We are currently recruiting an experienced Analyst as part of our Customer Strategy and Planning team. You will be part of a critical function that uncovers actionable insights and opportunities, working collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders to develop commercially viable target markets that deliver on the University’s strategic objectives.

Reporting to the Senior Business Development Analyst, Customer Strategy and Planning, this position is responsible for supporting the delivery of plans for future student recruitment, enhancing ECU’s international reputation, and creating a recognisable brand internationally. This role will also contribute to the successful achievement and growth of the University’s student enrolment targets.

The successful candidate will have:
• Extensive experience in providing analytical and insight services in, or for, medium to large organisations;
• The ability to identify and analyse growth opportunities, quantify the value, and potential return on investment;
• Expertise in the identification and development of reports and dashboards using Salesforce, Cognos Analytics, Tableau and other analytical tools to facilitate improved channel performance;
• Experience in the execution and co-ordination of market research and analysis;
• Strong background in data integrity and handling, including working with data from data warehouses and/or CRM systems;
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Excel (including advanced charting, pivots);
• High level of analytical, written and verbal and communication skills;
• A strong customer focus; and
• Extensive skills in influencing and networking.
