Caterpillar Dealer in Fiji Requires a Service Manager
An excellent opportunity has become available for a dedicated and motivated Service Manager to join our Company.
If you are an experienced Service Manager or Caterpillar Diesel Mechanic with supervisory experience that is looking for a lifestyle change and willing to relocate to Fiji then this position is for you.
This role is critical to the operation of the dealership therefore the successful candidate will need to be focused on maintaining the highest level of customer service.
Your Duties will include
plan field repairs to the fill range of Caterpillar Equipment
Responsible for the day to day operation of the Service Department
Implement efficient work processes and procedures
Effectively manage all Work In Progress (WIP)
Ensure continuously improvements on Customer Service Agreements
Development and training of staff
Established and maintain Cat Contamination Control culture
Provide a high level of customer service
Maintain a high level of Safety standard
Ensure continuous improvement of the department to achieve maximum efficiency and profitability
Must have a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience
Sound conflict resolution, problem solving and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational skills and the capacity to handle several tasks simultaneously
Must be self-motivated, reliant and a proven team player
Demonstrated high level customer service skills with the ability to understand specific customer skills with the ability to understand specific customer requirements
Previous experience overhauling engines (3500 series is a must)
Must have a Caterpillar trained Diesel Fitter / Mechanic and hold a trade certificate
Minimum of 5 years post trade experience with a Caterpillar dealer
Must be able to use Caterpillar systems such as; ET, EST, SIS, etc.
Experience with the generators is an advantage
Must have excellent English both verbal and written
