Administration Assistant (Financial Planning)

A casual or permanent part-time position (10-15 hours per week) is available for an efficient and highly motivated individual to offer Administration Support to our Financial Planning team.

You will be part of a friendly and supportive workplace. Our Practice prides itself on delivering high quality personalised service to our clients in all areas of financial planning including:- Superannuation; Retirement Planning; SMSF's; Investments (Managed and Direct); Asset Allocation; Portfolio Management; Insurance; and Estate Planning.

The successful applicant will work closely with the Financial Planners and Paraplanners. Some of the key duties of the Administration Assistant will include:

  • Provide administrative support to the Financial Planners
  • Gather information and present in a professional manner
  • Liaison with clients over the phone and face to face
  • Making appointments and managing diaries
  • Checking documentation and ensuring all paperwork signed accordingly by relevant parties
  • Pro-actively chasing up required documentation
  • Handling confidential information and dealing with discretion at all times
  • General administrative duties as required.

Skills and experience:

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail is a must
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must have a can-do attitude and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • A small office requires staff to work in a highly collaborative and supportive way
  • Experience working in the Financial Planning industry is advantageous but not essential.
