Based in Maitland, New South Wales - The heart of the Hunter Valley, Supportive team environment, Permanent full-time position.As the Works Coordinator for ARTC Maitland you will be responsible for planning and scheduling of maintenance activities and strategies to achieve maximum work efficiency and minimum network interruption.
In this role you will have autonomy to develop and improve the asset management systems and processes. You will own and sustain a 4 to 16-week rail maintenance plan, covering signal and civil disciplines, playing a key role in managing the workflow and asset management system (CMMS).
Australian Rail Track Corporation, a major national organisation, is responsible for managing infrastructure maintenance, capital upgrades and the movement of trains on interstate railway track across South Australia, Victoria, Western Australia, New South Wales and Queensland, as well as the Hunter Valley Coal Rail Network.
We are seeking individuals who can demonstrate the following skills and experience:
Experience in asset management systems (CMMS) such as Ellipse, SAP, Maximo or similar.
Advanced planning, scheduling and work management experience within heavy industry, mining or rail.
Demonstrated experience in managing maintenance backlog, forward load, scheduled tasks, defects and work orders.
Project management, cost tracking and materials management.
Superior communication, negotiating and influencing skills.
Ability to work efficiently with competing priorities.
Customer focused with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Motor Vehicle Driver’s licence Class C.
