Sales Executive / Business Development

As an integral member of the organisation, you will be responsible for promoting our company's services, development of new and existing business, managing client relationships and improving our market presence in Australia and worldwide. Whilst we accomplish big things we are small in numbers and encourage our staff to cross skill within the needs of today whilst preparing for tomorrow.

Key responsibilities:

  • Development of sales leads through prospecting, networking, trade shows, cold calling as well as social media interactions and more.
  • Successfully qualifying sales leads.
  • Educate clients about features and benefits of the software and hardware solutions through discussion, demonstrations etc to increase sales.
  • Successfully close sales with new and existing customers.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to define strategic approaches to engage customer interaction and promote the brand.
  • Effectively use CRM software to track activities, targets and KPIs, customer interactions and more to assist with the sales process.

Skills and experience were looking for:

  • Experience with software sales or Business Development.
  • Work autonomously to achieve individual and team focussed goals.
  • Be a self starter, highly motivated, and with determination to meet KPIs.
  • Proficient in CRM software and general office applications, including word documents and powerpoint presentations.
  • Experience in creative lead generation and lead conversions.
  • Strong organisation and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
