About the role
BaptistCare Finance Unit is currently seeking a full time Accounts Payable Officer on a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract to join the team in Norwest Business Park within walking distance of Norwest Railway Station. Your role is to support the Team Leader of the accounts payable team in providing high quality AP services to all business streams.
The successful candidate will have:
Tertiary qualification in accounts administration, accounting, finance or related field.
Minimum three (3) years workplace experience in accounts payable function in an environment with high volume and a wide variety of financial transactions.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and experience with operating complex accounting systems, ideally Technology One.
Demonstrated experience in AP month-end and year-end processes
You will be a proactive team player with strong work ethic and high accountability standards enabling you to meet deadlines and competing priorities within the AP team.
