Assistant Accountant

We are seeking a driven, hardworking and experienced professional to join our Finance team as an Assistant Accountant.

Responsibilities of this role include: Preparing and completing of control accounts reconciliations, ensuring all credit card statements are reconciled and all required supporting documentation is accounted for and duly authorised. Your Excel skills will be periodically used when maintaining and updating various salaries and P&Ls spreadsheets.

This role requires you to be involved, when required, in the accounts processing and the preparation of journals and monthly financial reports. You will be required to assist the Financial Accountant with daily tasks as the workflow requires it including administrative tasks.

To be successful for this role you have proven experience in a similar role, hold appropriate qualifications and have ability to work as part of a team and also independently. You must have used Microsoft Navision and similar financial system and ideally have worked in a busy environment. You must have good communication skills to liaise with all levels within the organisation, as well as with external stakeholders.

This is an ongoing role, 3 days per week. This is ideal for a person who is looking to add and gain valuable experience by working for an organisation which is well known within the community for the high level quality of services provided.
