McGregor & McGregor is an established firm of Chartered Accountants and Financial Planners based in Newcastle who provide quality services to a broad range of clients.  We currently have a vacancy for a self motivated Receptionist to join our admin team.

You will be responsible for a variety of duties, initially including but not limited to:

  • Answering and directing telephone calls
  • Meeting and greeting clients
  • Data entry and word processing
  • Admin support to partners and staff
  • Day to day office tasks with the opportunity to become involved in other areas of the business

This position would suit someone with a friendly and enthusiastic nature who can work both individually and as part of a team.  Ideally, you will also possess the following skills:

  • Receptionist experience or training
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Outlook and Excel
  • An ability to organise and prioritise your workload
  • A positive and flexible approach to all tasks

Previous experience in a professional practice is desirable, but not essential. Experience interacting with the ATO, ASIC and Revenue NSW and their software will be highly regarded.
