The My health for life program launched in early 2017, and is the most significant investment in health prevention seen in Queensland in many years. This is an outstanding opportunity to be part of this exciting health prevention initiative supporting Queenslanders in developing and maintaining healthy lifestyle practices. As PMO Lead you will contribute to the work of My Health for Life program which will support a minimum of 10,000 Queenslanders over 4 years who are at high risk of developing preventable chronic diseases. Queenslanders who are found to be at risk can access the program via either one on one telephone health coaching or a group-based lifestyle modification program.
The roles and responsibilities for this position:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate PMO Lead who will oversee activities to identify and support major deliverables to achieve program and project outcomes. Core roles of the PMO will be to maintain the rolled-up master schedule, budget reporting, resource planning and contract administration, as well as supporting service delivery leads to ensure they deliver according to their respective schedules.
As the key role understanding activities across all aspects of the program, this role is a key advisor to the Program Director on risks and issues as well as opportunities.
The successful candidate:
To enjoy real success in this role, you have a minimum of 4 years experience in a project administration role, with demonstrated ability to deliver high quality services to clients and to understand and react responsively to client requirements.
You will have demonstrated experience developing and maintaining dynamic project schedules using MS Project and also demonstrated experience in project documentation, maintaining risk and issues registers etc.
You will possess exceptional time and work prioritisation skills along with well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate with all stakeholders including clear explanations regarding project timelines and scope.
