With a small local office, this company is an independent arm of an international organisation. Providing electro-mechanical products to construction, commercial and industrial industries they take pride in the quality of their solutions.

This company is looking for a Technical & Customer Support professional to provide clients with product selection, modification and customisation. This is a broad ranging role which will give you the opportunity to problem solve bespoke solutions, schedule maintenance of capital equipment, scheduling calibrations and involvement in QA.

As this is a small business there may be opportunities to grow within key areas of the business as you progress, though it is important to note that as this is a small business you will be required to perform other activities as required and when it gets busy the business requires all hands on deck.

It is also important to note that this is not an engineering opportunity, rather the technical responsibilities focus on tailoring already existing solutions to client specifications. As such an engineering degree is not a requirement however someone who has a technical/trade qualification or who is technically minded will flourish in the role.


Responsibilities include:

  • Phone-based client and sales support
  • Troubleshooting client product and production issues
  • Managing key client accounts including new sales, value added services and upselling
  • Office-based customer liaison
  • Scheduling equipment maintenance, calibrations and QA
  • Overseeing the customisation of electro-mechanical products


Ideally you will have/be:

  • Technical qualification, production background or tech savvy with genuine interest in learning
  • Ability to problem solve and manage projects
  • Previous product or client relations experience
  • Process and procedure driven
  • Ability to form and build strong relationships with a broad cross-section of people
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
