As the retail landscape constantly evolves, Bunnings is looking to ensure it stays at the forefront of innovation and ultimately serves its customers to the highest standard possible. With that, there is now a need to build capability across Bunnings marketing and production team. 

The Role

The Internal Production Manager position is a newly created role. Reporting into the Head of Marketing & Production Services, this role will be crucial as Bunnings brings a large part of their shared services in-house. The Internal Production Manager has overall responsibility of the Design Studio and the team that is part of that studio.

This role will have a number of direct and indirect reports. Direct reports currently include a Print Production Manager, a Design Lead and  Studio Manager. The successful applicant will be responsible to work with these managers and the wider marketing and shared services streams to help build a capable and effective team.  


Skills & Experience

First and foremost you will be an experienced and strong leader who thrives working in a fast paced, complex environment. Ideally you will have at least 5 years in a similar industry, with experience having grown studio teams from the ground up. 

Other key skills required include:

  • Ability to manage complex delivery environments to ensure the high-quality delivery of multiple assets and requirements across different business priorities
  • A process thinker – able to logically think a project through from start to finish 
  • Strong content production experience across pre-production, production and post-production 
  • Stakeholder and supplier management, including procuremen
