About the role
This exciting new position requires a creative, enthusiastic and passionate marketing specialist who has the capacity to think differently and strategically, to reach and engage with a broad and diverse constituency, build and promote the organisation's brand, and increase membership and participation in programs, events and other activities. The marketing specialist will act as a trusted business partner, engaging and consulting across the whole IPAA Victoria team. This is an exciting opportunity to use your specialist marketing skills to support IPAA Victoria's new strategic objectives and growth targets.
Assist in the development of a marketing strategy to support IPAA Victoria's strategic refresh
Develop and implement the marketing plan
Develop and execute marketing campaigns to raise brand awareness and meet targets
Prepare marketing briefs and presentations for the CEO and the Board
Create and optimise the customer journey. Define customer segmentation and target groups as aligned with the strategic refresh and focus offerings accordingly
Monitor marketing campaigns and provide analytics and management reporting
Implement live streaming and podcasts and video
Conduct market research and report on market trends in Australia and globally.

Skills and experience
Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications or equivalent
3+ years' experience in working at operational and strategic levels in a marketing role
Excellent time management skills, and ability to deliver on multiple projects and meet timelines simultaneously
Strong communication (written and verbal), relationship management and interpersonal skills with a broad range of Internal and external stakeholders
Superior attention to detail
Demonstrated experience in achieving, measuring and reporting on marketing targets and outcomes
Be grounded, pragmatic, self-aware and act with integrity.
Experience working with MicroSoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce or other CRMs.
Experience in videography filming and editing and photography.
