Your key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Accounts Payable processing and making payments when due
  • Accounts Receivable, timely billing, collections and debtor management
  • Process weekly payroll and handle staff queries.
  • Reconcile and process superannuation using clearinghouse
  • Prepare information for BAS and PAYG Submission.
  • Reconcile bank accounts
  • Assisting with month end close off and reconciliations
  • Create and run standard reports for management
  • Provide support service by working with all departments and the management team to help make financial decisions
  • Other ad-hoc duties as requested by management

 

The ideal candidate

  • Have at least 6 months experience in a similar role
  • Have time management skills to meet critical deadlines
  • Accounts payable experience is essential
  • Exposure to QuickBooks, MYOB and Xero is essential
  • MS Office skills focusing on Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Accounts related qualification
  • Possess strong excel and communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work in a team environment and independently
