This year, Dulux is stepping into the next generation of manufacturing innovation with the setup of this brand new facility in Mickleham. Their highly automated factory incorporates the latest in world-class technology and equipment.

Right now, MaddisonWright is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, highly motivated Electrician to join the maintenance team at Dulux in Mickleham.

Your new role will see you working as a Full-Time Maintenance Electrician on permanent afternoon shifts.

Key responsibilities include;

  • Completion of all required Electrical planned and breakdown maintenance activities on site
  • Diagnosing faults and proactively managing breakdowns of equipment or process failures;
  • Identifying opportunities and activities which improve plant and equipment, reliability and efficiency;
  • Conduct and participate in root cause analysis of breakdowns and/or process improvement;

The successful Candidate will be;

  • Trade qualified Electrician (Instrumentation preferred, not essential)
  • Experience in PLC based control systems and automated process equipment;
  • Understanding of Safety systems and processes including Risk Assessments, incident reporting and planned inspections
  • Process and action oriented
  • Committed to their work and to maintaining a safe, harm-free environment
  • Able to problem-solve in a team environment;
  • Respectful of others beliefs and opinions;
  • Act with the company's core values in mind under all circumstances;
  • Possess or be able to obtain forklift, working at heights and confined space tickets;
  • Instrumentation qualification is preferred, but not essential
