We are a successful and growing Chartered Accounting and Financial Planning practice located on the Adelaide city fringe.

We have an opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper for various duties including:

  • Preparation of BAS, IAS, including bank reconciliations and journal preparation
  • Monthly reconciling of clients XERO, MYOB and Quickbooks online files, including reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
  • Receipt Bank management for various clients
  • End to end Payroll, including filing of STP
  • Monitoring and assisting with monthly superannuation compliance
  • Monthly payroll tax returns, where required
  • TPAR preparation and lodgements
  • Demonstrated ability to change / improve processes to benefit the business
  • Liaising with clients and assisting with queries

Excellent interpersonal skills, a team approach and very high client service standards are essential.

You will have strong and effective communication skills and ideally you will have the following attributes and experience:

  • 3 to 5 years minimum, prior experience as a bookkeeper for small to medium business, preferably within an accounting firm background
  • Extensive experience with XERO, MYOB, Quickbooks and other add ons and payroll
  • A mature, confident personality
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • The ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Reliable, responsible, polite, professional, dedicated and diligent
  • Well-presented and confident
  • Available to start immediately
