We are offering an exciting opportunity for two self-motivated and suitably qualified people, seeking a challenging and rewarding career, to join our Arts & Culture team as our Patron Services Officers on a part time basis. These positions are based at the newly opened Red Earth Arts Precinct; offering an attractive salary and a range of other benefits including, but not limited to:
Six weeks annual leave
The Patron Services Officer is responsible for the successful operation of the Red Earth Arts Precinct in relation to customer experience and safety. This includes all patron interfaces within the precinct including theatre, music and dance performances, cinema screenings, exhibitions and public events. The scope of the role incudes providing box office and food and beverage services and delivering general precinct information. The Patron Services Officer is responsible for responding appropriately to public enquiries that are received through the box and working with venue and event staff (food and beverage, other merchandise, ushers) for all facility use.
The successful candidate will possess:
An Approved Manager licence under the Liquor Licensing Act (or be prepared to obtain)
Relevant experience with SABO (desirable or willingness to undertake training)
Working with Children Check (desirable)
First Aid Certificate (desirable or willingness to undertake training)
Current Manual C class drivers licence
National (or Federal) Police Certificate (no more than 6 months old)
Ability and willingness to undertake Fire Warden Training
