The Role We are looking for a rock star digital executive who knows exactly what customers want and how to get their team to deliver it! Reporting into the Executive General Manager (EGM) Fan Engagement you’re responsible for the strategic direction and operations of Cricket Australia’s (CA’s) digital products, services, and partnerships. The core focus of the role is to take a holistic view across cricket to drive outstanding fan and participant (customer) engagement. You will do so by digging into the vast amount of rich data and using the insights to inform decision making and strategy. Cricket as we know, is first and foremost one of the most loved sports in Australia and you have the opportunity to place it further into the hearts and minds of the fans both existing and importantly new! It’s a big, complex and challenging role but one that is incredibly rewarding and integral to CA’s aspirations of being the best sporting and entertainment organisation in the world.
The Person You will be a customer obsessed, Digital leader (Head of Digital level) with a strong integrated digital strategy, customer experience and marketing track record. You will be adept at building audience and brand engagement preferably within an aligned industry such as Sport, Entertainment or Media. You will have proven capability in leading high performing digital and content teams across customer experience (CX) and strategically aligning large data to create personalised experiences. Crucial will be your ability to adapt in rapidly changing situations/environments, be able to balance multiple priorities and remain focussed and clear. Strong ability to prioritise and manage stakeholder expectations and lead an experienced team to challenge the norm and deliver beyond expectation whilst working as part of a broader cross functional leadership team towards the common goal. This is no ordinary role, therefore we are looking for extraordinary person who is ideally passionate about sport, potentially even cricket but at the very least is driven by a shared purpose of how sport can play an integral role in health, wellbeing and the community.
