Generous remuneration package. Salary from $97,152 - $107,541 (plus super and annual leave loading)
Our Water Group is currently seeking a Groundwater Strategy Officer to join their Regional Water Strategies team.
As a Groundwater Strategy Officer you will collaborate across government agencies and liaise with key stakeholders to research and gather regional groundwater demand and supply data and information to contribute to the delivery of the NSW Government’s regional water strategies. You will also apply your experience and knowledge of groundwater management to provide input into developing considered, strategic options that improve the resilience of water resources for towns and communities, the environment, Aboriginal communities and industry across NSW.
This is a key role which contributes to the delivery of the NSW Government’s regional water strategies which align to the State’s water sector strategic planning priorities, water reform agenda, and relevant legislation.

About You To be successful in this role, our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Experience in groundwater related areas such as water planning, natural resource management, environmental science, civil/environmental engineering or hydrogeology
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage your own workload and balance competing demands and priorities
Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills and a commitment to working as part of a high performing team
Strong stakeholder management skills and an ability to work collaboratively across teams and with delivery partners
